![]() ![]() I wasn't that all curious, but my guy told me to try it. Some people swore by buying brand new due to many other reasons, but I prefer to save my hard earned money because it doesn't grow in my backyard.Īnyways long story short, one day I visited my local watch dealer, and to my surprise he had both the exact same model of preowned 45mm and 43mm in stock. One being the price obviously, buying preowned pieces are definitely cheaper by a significant margin, and I don't have that anxiety to baby my purchase because it already comes with some nicks and scuffs anyway. I'm also known for trying my best to not buy brand new, for several reasons. But if the lug overhangs on my wrist, then it's a no-no for me, not only it looks ridiculous (to my tastes), it also gets knocked around easier because of the size itself. I have a small sized Asian wrist, but I'm a bit lucky because my wrist is a bit flatter than round, so I could pull off larger watches than most. I thought to myself, how much will a 2mm difference make anyway? I wasn't curious at all, and never wanted to know. ![]() When they released this piece, 43mm, I wasn't so much excited about it. So I kept my collection to the usual Omegas Rolex and Aquaracers. I eventually bought the Heuer Reissue with the 12 hours bezel, but then again I find it wasn't to my liking. However, after trying one, I was really put off by the sheer size and thickness of the watch. I have seen the 45mm here and there, and quite some amount on the local preowned market. ![]() So it's been a while since I acquired any kind of watch, and I actually have been really anticipating for this piece. ![]()
